← Three ways to work together

Factory Office · Manufacturing operations

Handle more enquiries and orders.
Protect more of the margin.

I work with manufacturers to redesign the connected processes behind sales, quoting, orders, purchasing and planning around what AI can do. The aim is more commercial and operational capacity, faster responses and better control of profitability.

You do not need to know which process should change. We can work out where a significant improvement is possible together.

Where it can help

Find the bottleneck
before choosing the automation.

Factory Office focuses on the information and coordination around production. We choose the starting point from your actual work.

Prepare quotes with less searching

Bring together requirements, previous jobs, costs and open questions. Help the team prepare a quote while keeping pricing decisions with the responsible person.

Move orders into the workflow

Extract order details from emails and documents, check them against existing records and prepare a structured draft for your ERP. Route mismatches for review.

Stay on top of supplier changes

Compare confirmations with purchase orders, identify changes to price, quantity or delivery date and give the buyer a clear exception to resolve.

Keep documents and knowledge usable

Organise quality documents, link information to the right job and make procedures easier to find. Define how changes and missing information reach the people who need them.

See one possible workflow

From an incoming order
to a checked ERP draft.

An illustrative Factory Office workflow using made-up data. A pilot adapts the approach to your own documents, rules and ERP.

Today: manual handling

A person reads each document, copies order details, checks prices and follows up on differences.

Proposed: review the exceptions

The system prepares the order and shows mismatches. The responsible person approves exceptions and controls the final action.

The figures in the video are hypothetical. Actual ERP integration, approval rules and achievable savings are established for your process during a pilot.

Why work with me on factory processes?

Experience changing operations.
The ability to build the system.

01

I have been responsible for business economics.

At Softeq, I helped move the business from losses to sustainable profitability while it grew. At Itransition, I helped build the operating organisation through rapid growth. As COO at OneSoil, I worked across operations and finance.

That experience is relevant when deciding whether a process change is worth its implementation and running costs.

02

I can work across the process and the engineering.

At Softeq, an engineering-services business serving clients including Intel, NVIDIA and Epson, I built requirements, project-management, QA, support and presales processes. Today I build AI systems myself.

The factory engagement brings that operating and engineering experience to your workflow. Its specific benefits are established on your own data and systems.

03

You can evaluate a bounded result before expanding.

We agree the baseline, scope, acceptance criteria and measures before a pilot. You see how the proposed process handles normal work and exceptions, then decide whether the result warrants a wider rollout.

How we start

One process.
A measurable operating change.

  1. Walk through the real work

Show how the process runs today, who handles it and where delays, repeated work or costly errors appear. We choose the process together.

  2. Agree the case for a pilot

Define a useful output, the data and system connections needed, a baseline and acceptance criteria. Scope, price and timing are agreed before implementation.

  3. Build and test in your environment

The proposed architecture runs inside your environment and connects to existing systems. Deployment and model choices follow your data requirements. The pilot tests real examples and exception handling.

  4. Measure and hand over

Compare time, error rate, turnaround and operating cost with the baseline. Document the workflow, train the team and agree ownership and support before expansion.

Let's work on the result

You want a more profitable factory.
Let's find where to start.

Send a few lines about your business or any material you already have. I will review the context before a free 30-minute conversation. We can then choose a project or, if more evidence is needed, a separately priced diagnostic.
